Marina i110 Cartridge is a replacement internal filter cartridge designed specifically for Marina i110 and i160 internal filters. It’s an easy way to restore strong filtration performance when your current cartridge becomes clogged or exhausted, helping your aquarium stay cleaner and more stable.

This cartridge uses a multi-stage approach to water polishing:

• Mechanical filtration: An outer layer of polyester foam captures fine debris and floating particles before they spread through the tank.

• Chemical filtration: Activated carbon helps reduce pollutants and odors for fresher, clearer water.

• Ammonia control: Zeolite helps eliminate toxic ammonia, which can support healthier water conditions—especially useful in situations where ammonia spikes are a risk.

Maintenance tip

For best results, many retailers recommend replacing the cartridge about every 4 weeks as part of routine filter maintenance.
If you use a Marina i160 that takes two cartridges, don’t replace both at the same time—staggering changes helps maintain the presence of beneficial bacteria in the filter system.
